While you may be miles away and not actually meet us, you will find we are not a "faceless" service. If hiring us on a regular basis, in most cases, you will deal with the same person, allowing you to build up a relationship. If you employed a secretary they would quickly learn your business's requirements and the way you do things. We believe you should receive the same service from us.


General typing (letters, invoices, reports, surveys, etc.)
apa secretarial provide a professional service with a fast turnaround time - depending on amount and quality - most typing is returned within the same day. Very small amounts (for example, 10 minutes of digitally recorded dictation) will usually be completed and returned within 1 hour of our receipt.

We can either email (or print and post) the completed documents back to you or print, sign and post on your behalf. You can of course collect work from our offices.


Audio transcription and copy-typing
apa secretarial can accept either handwritten or audio recorded work.

With audio typing we are happy to transcribe dictation, recorded lectures/conferences, one-to-one interviews (having a transcript is especially useful for any legal interviews, for example, a disciplinary), focus group meetings, etc.

Advertising campaigns
If you are planning an advertising campaign where the prospective customer asks for more information, allow apa secretarial to handle this for you. We can accept mail on your behalf and, if required, send out the relevant information, keeping a list of all the customers who have responded, record where they saw the advert, etc.


Mailshots
Perhaps you are thinking of doing a mailshot. While the number of letters you expect to send out is relatively small (say under 1000), and a proper mailing house is not interested, you simply don't have the staff nor the time to handle this in-house.

apa secretarial can handle it all: entering the customer details onto a database, maintaining the database, printing the letters, collating the information, enveloping, stamping and posting.

If you want to do a mailshot but do not have the relevant printed material we can help. We do not provide the printing ourselves, but apa secretarial  has partnered with a local, established, and reliable printing firm to be able to provide this service.


Scanning/OCR
There is nothing worse than spending a long time typing a document only to find the computer has "lost" the file and you have to retype it all.

You may be a book publisher with a book that no one has the computer files for.

With our professional OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software we can quickly convert typed text back into editable word processor files. Our software also works with .pdf files.
